(yes, I am at work today… I hope you’re lucky enough not to have the day off!)
Adding a basic silk top to a bright pencil skirt is a “casual Friday” favorite for me but professional enough for daily wear in less conservative offices. I’m petite so midi-length skirts are a bit tough to pull off – I find the higher the heels, the better!

Asos ponti pencil skirt (under $50!) / House of Harlow arrowhead necklace / Ralph Lauren bangles / Reed Krakoff tote bag / Elizabeth and James heels (already on sale + an extra 20% with code TWENTY)
Valentino always gets me with the bows… a tote for work, a clutch for play :)

It seems like finding thoughtful gifts under $30 is hard for some people – how many times have you received a secret santa gift that wasn’t either 1) re-gifted or 2) thrown away? Here are a few ideas for gifts that won’t break the bank…
for her:

Ms. & Mrs. Minimergency Kit (16-piece must-have beauty, fashion, and personal care emergency kit that every woman needs – I keep one at work and one in my bag at all times) / Panacea Hammered Leaf Ring / Bobbi Brown Party to Go Palette (a steal at $25 and a purse perfect palette for going from day to night) / Notecard Set from Simplicity Papers (I’ve ordered from this Etsy seller multiple times – she’s easy to work with and the quality is fab!) / Deborah Lippman Bridal Nail Color Set (not just for brides, a great set for neutral nails)
for him:

The Art of Shaving 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave Kit / iTunes Gift Card/Allowance (I was hesitant to include this as I feel like gift cards are lame to include in a gift guide, but my husband argued the enjoyment he would get out buying apps with a $25 gift card is more than most things so… there ya go) / Polo Ralph Lauren Argyle Socks (my husband also said he’d want things that he needs, but hates spending money on himself like socks, razor blades, etc – at least these socks are antimicrobial, soft and stylish) / ThinkGeek Flash Drive Bottle Opener (2GB, multipurpose, why not?) / Whiskey Stones (bonus points if you include the whiskey too)

I work in a corporate environment but try not to wear suits as much as possible… most days I find that shift dress + blazer = instantly chic.

Theory blazer, Topshop shift dress, Juicy Couture earrings, Pour La Victoire bag, Tory Burch heels
Its no secret that I have an irrational love for things that sparkle – so regardless of the fact that I already own sequin converse, I might be in love with a new casual shoe…

Each year, the beginning of November (and my birthday!) marks the beginning of festive party season… time to break out the sequin dresses, sparkly jewels and red, red heels!
